Job description

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is seeking experienced attorneys to join the Dispute Resolutions Team of GCSolutions in our Nashville office.

GCSolutions is an alternative legal service provider that offers clients cost-effective services staffed by highly qualified attorneys. Positions allow flexible scheduling, work-life balance, and the ability to work remotely. GCSolutions attorneys are expected to contribute to team development but are not expected to build a book of business or make a significant investment of time in firm or client development. Opportunities are available on a part-time and full-time basis.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates need to have at least 5 years of experience.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience with companies and financial institutions on single plaintiff civil litigation and/or arbitration concerning consumer loans of all types as well as other dispute resolution alternatives such as loan modifications, forbearance agreements, and other loan workouts. Bankruptcy experience a plus.
  • Ideal candidates will work well as part of a team on related cases, including supervision by experienced partners, but must be capable of taking a lead role in independently handling court appearances, taking and defending depositions, retaining and working with experts, attending mediations, and related tasks.
  • It is critical that the candidate be capable of managing multiple cases at once, have strong writing and oral advocacy skills, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent legal work for our clients.
  • Candidates must be licensed in Tennessee.
  • Candidates must have excellent law school and undergraduate academic credentials as well as strong writing and analytical skills.
