Position Summary:

The Royal Glenora Club is seeking a passionate, organized, and professional Line Cook to join our culinary team. As one of Edmonton's premier private athletic and social clubs, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a timely, consistent, and safe manner while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and teamwork.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain assigned stations before, during, and after service.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented to Royal Glenora Club standards.
  • Follow portion control guidelines and minimize waste.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
  • Properly label, date, rotate, and store food products using FIFO procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to leadership.
  • Assist with banquet, restaurant, lounge, and special event preparation as required.
  • Accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special member requests.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
  • Support kitchen-wide cleaning and closing duties, including walk-ins, storage areas, and dish support when needed.
  • Adhere to all Alberta Health Services regulations, Food Safe practices, WHMIS standards, and Club policies.
  • Contribute positively to a team-oriented, respectful, and professional work environment.
