Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable part-time Audiovisual Technician to join our team at SNAEP. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audiovisual equipment for meetings, conferences, events, and other hotel activities. You will ensure a seamless experience for all guests and clients by providing technical support and ensuring the highest quality of AV services.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and Operation: Set up and operate audio-visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, microphones, video conferencing systems, and lighting for meetings, conferences, banquets, and other events.
  • Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support during events, troubleshooting and resolving any AV-related issues promptly.
  • Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain AV equipment to ensure functionality, cleanliness, and safety standards are met.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of all AV equipment and assist in ordering new equipment as necessary.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of AV setup and technical issues, including maintenance logs and event feedback.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in AV setup and troubleshooting, preferably in a hotel or event setting.
  • Strong knowledge of AV equipment, including sound systems, video conferencing tools, projectors, and lighting systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Basic understanding of networking and signal flow is a plus.
  • A technical degree or certification in Audio-Visual technology is preferred but not required.
  • Physical ability to properly lift and move equipment as needed. Up to 75lbs
