Under the direction of the building principal, the Part-Time Librarian oversees the daily operation of the school library/media center and provides equitable access to resources that support student learning and achievement. The Librarian fosters information literacy by helping students develop the skills to locate, evaluate, synthesize, and effectively use information to solve problems and think critically. Serving as an instructional partner, resource specialist, and curriculum support professional, the Librarian collaborates with teachers and staff to integrate library resources into classroom instruction and promote a culture of literacy and lifelong learning.
