Estero, FL 33928 About the Opportunity Step into a fast-paced role as a Library Associate, where you'll keep library materials organized and moving, assist patrons in locating the resources they need, and help ensure an efficient, customer-focused library experience. Duties and Responsibilities What You'll Do Plan and deliver engaging programs for children and teens, including those that promote children's literature Help create eye-catching library displays Support the development and upkeep of the branch's collection Provide courteous, knowledgeable customer service to library patrons Assist with reference and readers' advisory using print and digital tools Promote library services through outreach to community organizations Help patrons navigate the internet and electronic resources Operate library equipment, including computers, self-checks, copiers, and cash registers Address basic facility issues and collaborate with staff on solutions To succeed in this role, you'll need strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
