Is this job for you?
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and adaptable Production Assistant (Part-Time) to lead care and content label management, RFID/UPC coordination, and seasonal data tracking. This role will be responsible for collaborating closely with in-office teams and overseas partners to streamline production workflows, review factory layouts, and maintain critical systems data. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and a strong problem solver. This is a Part-Time (30 Hours per week) position based out of our HQ Office 4 days per week (Monday - Thursday.)
What you'll do:
  • Collaborate in person with the production team in the New York office (minimum 4
    days/week) to support training, onboarding, and time-sensitive coordination
  • Review test reports & BOM to provide care/content recommendation to factories
    and work with production team and factories to come up with a suitable layout to
    minimize product risks.
  • Review care/content label layout & approve them for production.
  • Maintain the care instruction manual & library in the share drive.
  • Pull EAN/UPC data from NetSuite & send the information to factories to order RFID &
    UPC stickers.
  • Work closely with oversea partners to provide the abbreviation to fit style/color
    description to the RFID/UPC fields.
  • Update oversea partners for the revised MSRP's.
  • Review RFID & UPC layout & approve them for production. Maintain the library in the
    share drive.
  • Create a seasonal PDP-Tracker chart and maintain it with updates.
  • Release seasonal Pre-class chart to factories, collect the info & pass the completed
    chart to the operation team to populate HTS codes prior to shipment deliveries.

What you'll have:
  • At least 5 years production experience preferred with US buying office or large trading
    business
  • Experiences in both Apparel & Non-Apparel such as Home & Accessories will be plus.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to organize data and
    communicate findings with various audiences.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skill, ability to conduct data analysis and extract
    critical points for team review.
  • Flexible and Adaptable - priorities change frequently based on business demands, the
    ability to change direction quickly is critical.
  • High level of skill with Microsoft Excel, business, and system maintenance, generate
    analysis and report from systems.

We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry. The hourly rate range for this position is $30-40 USD, but we will consider location, skill level and experience to determine the final offer.
