Class and Grade
This position is available exclusively to currently enrolled SJR State students and pays $15 per hour.
Position Summary
This position requires a FAFSA on file and is available only to current SJR State students who are eligible for student employment during the Fall 2026 term. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Applicants must successfully pass employment verification, reference screening, and a background check. This position is not eligible for Veteran's Preference.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with the planning, logistics, and execution of campus events sponsored by Student Engagement.
• Assist with student identification and promote College events through flyers, promotional materials, and student announcement boards.
• Serve as a liaison to new, prospective, and current students.
• Provide general College information, directions, and referrals to appropriate departments.
• Assist new students with the application process, password resets, and course registration.
• Check campus mail daily and maintain Student Center equipment, games, and supplies.
• Monitor computer usage and supplies in the Student Center.
• Represent SJR State at college tours, special events, and other campus activities.
• Assist with projects and other duties as assigned by the Student Activity Coordinator.
This position is not eligible for benefits.
