Job description

WinnCompanies is searching for a Part-time Laundry Attendant to join our team at Trumbull Park Homes, a 465-unit residential community located in Chicago, IL.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating the washing machines and dryers in resident laundry rooms.
 
The pay rate for this position is $16.50 per hour. Additionally, this is a part-time position, which will work up to 20 hours per week and is not eligible for Winn benefits.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain laundry equipment.
  • Report any inoperable equipment to management.
  • Complete service request forms for inoperable equipment.
  • Monitor sign-in sheets for residents who utilize the facility.
  • Maintain a neat and hygienic work area.
  • Greet residents in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Maintain an accurate daily timekeeping record via our timekeeping system.

Requirements:

  • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to operate independently.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or push items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to respond to requests in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Ability to understand spoken and written English.
