 Janitorial - Part Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Cleaner in Winona, MN  to join our team at Advanced Facilities.

We are looking for a dedicated day time cleaner to provide cleaning for common areas of residential buildings. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing common areas.
  • Ensure all areas meet high standards of cleanliness.
  • Assist with periodic floor care such as buffing and waxing.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Exterior Areas

  • Maintain parking lots, sidewalks, entrances, patios, smoking areas, lawns, and trash enclosures free of litter and debris
  • Empty and clean outdoor waste receptacles.
  • Remove graffiti as needed.
  • Perform seasonal power washing of entrances and outdoor surfaces.

Restrooms

  • Clean and disinfect all restroom fixtures, partitions and touch points.
  • Restock designated dispensers and consumables according to facility requirements.
  • Replace sharps containers as required.

Trash

  • Remove waste to designated disposal areas.
  • Clean and disinfect trash containers, chute doors, and surrounding surfaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness of waste storage rooms.

Client Lounges & Laundry Rooms

  • Clean and sanitize tables, seating, appliances, counter tops, sinks, cabinets, and laundry equipment.
  • Refill dispensers, empty lint traps, and maintain flooring.
  • Perform periodic deep cleaning..

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Have a reliable vehicle.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs. and standing for extended periods.
