Position Type: Full Time - Afternoon
Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 21+ years of age
  • Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
  • Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to the appropriate personnel in accordance with site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public access areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify permitted entry when required, and document security-related concerns, hazards, and unusual activity.
  • Support public-facing operations by offering directions, answering general questions, and assisting with orderly movement of people during routine operations and/or emergency situations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and/or public agency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or credentialed access points, verifying authorized entry and reporting unusual behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations.
  • Support location operations by assisting travelers, visitors, and staff with directions and general information while maintaining awareness of security-related conditions and reporting hazards and/or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
