General Laborer

HireQuest Direct is now hiring dependable General Laborers to support construction projects, warehouse operations, manufacturing facilities, property cleanups, and commercial job sites throughout Kent, WA, and the surrounding King County area.


We have immediate temporary, temp-to-hire, and ongoing assignments available for motivated individuals who are ready to work in fast-paced environments.


What You'll Be Doing

As a General Laborer, you'll help keep job sites safe, clean, and productive. Daily responsibilities may include:


Construction site cleanup
Removing debris, scrap materials, and trash
Sweeping, raking, and maintaining clean work areas
Loading and unloading tools, equipment, and building materials
Assisting carpenters, electricians, plumbers, concrete crews, and other skilled trades
Moving and staging materials throughout job sites
Light demolition and tear-down work
Warehouse support, shipping and receiving, inventory movement, and material handling
Property cleanups and general labor projects
Following all safety procedures and supervisor instructions


What We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who are:


Reliable and punctual
Able to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in construction, warehouse, industrial, and manufacturing environments
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Able to follow directions and maintain a safe work environment
