Job Description:
This is a temporary OPS position at the University of Florida. Work schedule and hours may vary based on operational needs.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist the Facility Manager with daily operational tasks and building support activities
  • Help with office, lab, classroom, and event space setup or breakdown
  • Assist with furniture moves and light equipment relocation
  • Support coordination of work orders and basic facilities requests
  • Help monitor supply inventory and assist with restocking facility materials
  • Perform routine walkthroughs of building areas and report issues or maintenance needs
  • Provide logistical support for special events, meetings, or departmental activities
  • Assist with general organizational tasks related to building operations and storage areas
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Expected Salary:
$14 per hour
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to approximately 25-40 pounds
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred:
  • Experience assisting with facilities operations, building support, or maintenance coordination
