Job FunctionThe college is seeking an OSHA-authorized General Industry Instructor to teach a 16-hour OSHA-10 training course focused on foundational workplace safety. The instructor will deliver engaging, accurate, and compliant instruction that prepares students to recognize hazards, understand regulatory requirements, and apply safe work practices. This role requires an educator who can translate technical safety concepts into accessible, real-world learning experiences.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct a 16-hour OSHA-10 General Industry course in accordance with OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC) requirements.
- Issue OSHA-10 completion cards to eligible participants through the authorized provider system.
- Present safety topics such as hazard communication, electrical safety, walking-working surfaces, personal protective equipment, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, course documentation, and compliance with OSHA training standards.
- Demonstrated experience teaching or training adult learners in safety, technical, or industrial settings.
EducationBachelor's Degree and proper credential to teach OSHA-10.
