Summary of Purpose
The lab instructor supervises Radiologic Technology students in the lab. Assisting them with radiographic equipment use, positioning accuracy and image evaluation, and identifying required anatomy. They ensure proper procedures are followed for operation of the radiographic equipment as well as ensuring appropriate disinfection procedures are performed after lab sessions.
Minimum Education and Experience
A minimum of one year of experience as a registered radiographer is required.
Lab supervisor must be certified and registered by the ARRT in Radiography.
