These roles can include responsibilities such as preparing samples, maintaining equipment, recording data, and assisting lead scientists or technicians. Part time lab jobs are often filled by students, recent graduates, or professionals seeking flexible work hours. They are common in academic, medical, research, and industrial settings, and can offer valuable hands-on experience for those pursuing a career in science or healthcare.

Depending on the lab's needs, you might work mornings, afternoons, or evenings, typically ranging from 10 to 25 hours per week.
