We are currently looking to hire an experienced part-time Veterinary Assistantto join our fun team at Common Companion Vet Co. in Atlanta, Georgia.
  • Schedule: Part-time; must be willing to work weekends.

  • Location: Reynoldstown- 907 Memorial Dr SE Suite 110, Atlanta, GA 30316

Common Companion Vet Co. is a group of passionate veterinary professionals dedicated to progressive veterinary care and exceptional client service in Atlanta, GA. Our two convenient locations provide a wide range of services for cats and dogs in Inman Park, Reynoldstown, and surrounding communities. Our Wellness Plans include everything a pet would need in all stages of life split into affordable monthly payments for the clients. Qualifications

  • Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.

  • Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred - or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.

  • Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.

  • Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.

  • Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.

  • Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
