Job Summary:

At Diamond Medical Laboratories, we deliver high-quality care through our diverse and highly trained professional personnel. As a 4 AM Mobile Phlebotomist, you will join our team in a contract/part-time role, responsible for early morning specimen collection from patients at various locations. We are seeking a reliable and skilled professional who can ensure patient comfort, safety, and specimen integrity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Patient Verification: Ensure accuracy by verifying test requisitions against nursing station logs and addressing discrepancies with facility personnel.

  • Safe Transportation: Maintain personal safety and proper specimen handling during transport; track mileage as per management guidelines.

  • Specimen Collection: Perform venipunctures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

  • Specimen Integrity: Follow aseptic techniques, department protocols, and isolation procedures to maintain specimen quality.

  • Tracking & Documentation: Accurately document collection details, including initials, date, and time of collection.

  • Compliance & Safety: Adhere to legal and industry standards to maintain a secure and healthy work environment.

  • Data Entry: Utilize laboratory information systems to input sample acquisition details.

  • Professionalism: Uphold company reputation by maintaining a high standard of service and professional conduct.
