Job Description
The Call Center Specialist works as member of Admissions Department and represents LBHS and its programs to all those inquiring for services . The Call Center Specialist serves as a liaison between LBHS and referral sources, patients and families . The primary function of the Call Center Specialist is to facilitate referrals between referring mobile crisis agencies, hospitals and other referral sources in support of the call center operations . The Call Center Specialist prioritizes referrals made to LBHS and provides exceptional customer service to all partnering agencies , t horough and accurate documentation of calls and other admissions related paperwork is a critical component of the job.

Qualifications
Job Requirement s:
Education: B achelor's degree in Counseling , Psychology, Social Work or Social Services field.
Experience: Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
Knowledge : Prefer knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.
