New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA) is adding an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The Hospital is part of theNYC Health + Hospitals System. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

  • Direct patient care.
  • Supervision/Teaching/Guidance of house staff and other members of the medical team.
  • Assist in the maintenance of standard of performance of physicians and of other professional employees working in the service.
  • Attends weekly staff conferences and committee work meetings.
  • Organizes and supervises clinical trials at Kings County Hospital, when requested.
  • Provide lectures as directed by Chief of Service.
  • License to practice Dentistry in New York State.
  • License to practice Dental Anesthesia in New York State.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $100,500* (board eligible); $103,500* (board certified) based on 12-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

    • Employees are immediately vested in their contributions.
