What are typical responsibilities for a part-time ketamine clinic nurse or provider?

As a part-time ketamine clinic nurse or provider, your primary responsibilities include administering ketamine infusions or treatments, monitoring patients for safety and comfort, and documenting patient responses and progress. You will also provide pre- and post-treatment education, collaborate closely with mental health professionals, and follow strict protocols to ensure patient safety. The role often involves shift work in a clinic setting and requires strong communication skills to support patients throughout their treatment process.

What is a part-time ketamine clinician?

A part-time ketamine clinician is a healthcare professional, such as a psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, or physician, who administers ketamine treatments to patients on a part-time basis. Ketamine is used for conditions like depression, anxiety, and chronic pain, typically in specialized clinics. These clinicians assess patients, oversee ketamine infusions or therapy sessions, and monitor for side effects. Working part-time allows flexibility for clinicians while contributing to mental health and pain management care.

To thrive as a Part Time Ketamine Nurse, you need a valid nursing license (RN or higher), strong clinical assessment skills, and knowledge of ketamine infusion protocols. Job description

Build Your Own Practice — With a Clinic Already Behind You

Independent Contractor (1099) | Part-Time or Full-Time | Davenport, Iowa

This is not a spa job. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity for a licensed, motivated massage therapist to build or expand a practice inside an established, high-traffic integrative wellness clinic — with a built-in referral pipeline, full administrative support, and zero startup overhead.

About Our Clinic

Quad Cities Integrative Wellness is part of a growing integrative mental health and wellness group in the Quad Cities — provider-owned and operated by two advanced practice clinicians who built this practice to deliver whole-person care that this community didn't have before.

Our services include ketamine infusion therapy, Spravato® (esketamine), nitrous oxide therapy, chiropractic, psychiatric services, counseling, infrared sauna, HOCATT, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light therapy, and zero-gravity massage. Therapeutic massage is a natural and in-demand part of our patients' care journeys — and we have referrals ready for the right provider.

What This Opportunity Looks Like

This is a 1099 independent contractor arrangement. You run your practice. We handle the rest.

  • You set your own hours — part-time or full-time, the schedule works around your life
  • You set your own service rates — you decide what you charge
  • You see clients immediately by tapping into our existing patient base and referral network
  • You grow your own clientele with a full administrative team behind you

Compensation is a competitive revenue share model — specific terms discussed during the interview process. There are no hidden fees, no room rental charges, and no surprise deductions. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes, malpractice/liability insurance, and licensure maintenance.

Part-Time & Shared Space Option

We welcome both part-time and full-time candidates. Part-time therapists will share the massage therapy suite with one other LMT on a coordinated schedule — ensuring each provider has dedicated, uninterrupted time with their clients. Days and hours are established collaboratively.

This is an ideal setup if you are:

  • Building a client base and not yet ready to commit to full-time hours
  • Currently at another position and looking to add a complementary practice location
  • Looking for a low-overhead, flexible arrangement in a professional clinical setting

The Arrangement at a Glance

WHAT WE PROVIDE

  • Fully equipped, dedicated massage therapy suite — table and linens provided
  • Full front desk and client intake support
  • Scheduling coordination and appointment management
  • Billing support and payment processing
  • Warm referrals from our ketamine, chiropractic, psychiatric, and wellness providers
  • HIPAA-compliant systems and professional clinical environment
  • Marketing visibility through clinic platforms, website, and patient network
  • Collaborative, integrative team that actively cross-refers within the practice

WHAT YOU KEEP

  • Full autonomy over your clinical approach and modalities
  • Control of your own schedule and caseload
  • Your own service pricing — you set your rates
  • Majority of collections from your services
  • No non-compete — you own your client relationships
  • No startup costs, no build-out, no lease negotiation

Your Clinical Role
  • Therapeutic and clinical massage for a wellness and integrative mental health patient population
  • Modalities may include Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point, and others within your scope
  • Collaboration with chiropractic, psychiatric, ketamine, and wellness providers when appropriate
  • Compliant documentation within our EHR system
  • Active participation in our cross-referral culture — patients here are looking for exactly what you offer

Who We're Looking For
  • Active LMT license in Iowa
  • Minimum 1 year of post-licensure experience preferred
  • Experience in therapeutic and/or clinical massage modalities
  • Comfortable working alongside medical and psychiatric providers in a clinical setting
  • Entrepreneurially minded — you want to build your own client base, not fill someone else's schedule
  • Professional, reliable, self-directed, and committed to a consistent schedule
  • Interest in integrative wellness and holistic approaches to patient care

Why Join Us Now?
  • Our patient population — managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain — is actively seeking therapeutic massage as part of their care
  • You walk in with a warm referral pipeline from chiropractic and wellness providers already on-site
  • A professional clinical setting that elevates your practice and your reputation
  • The freedom of independent practice without the overhead of a standalone business
  • A flexible schedule that works for your life — not the other way around
  • A model designed for growth — the more you build, the more you earn

Requirements
  • Active Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) license in Iowa
  • Current professional liability/malpractice insurance
  • Clean background check
  • Minimum 1 year of post-licensure experience preferred
