Job description

Title:

Instructional Systems Designer

KBR's Mission Engineering Division delivers complex technical solutions and expert support to the U.S. Department of War, specializing in modeling and simulation, cyber transformation, air vehicle mission integration, and lifecycle support. As a trusted partner with a proven history in mission technology, KBR collaborates closely with clients to develop innovative and effective solutions. With a strong ethical framework, KBR prioritizes data security, privacy, and responsible information management to ensure mission success.

KBR is seeking a part-time experienced Instructional Systems Designer to lead a Front-End-Analysis (FEA) for the Navy E-2D Block II effort in support of the Training Systems IPT of PMA-231.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Translates organizational objectives into structured training requirements. (ISD)

  • Evaluate required capabilities, map training gaps, and design performance frameworks that inform curriculum development and drive IPT decision making

  • Audit and map existing E-2D Aircrew skills against current and future training needs.

  • Identify skill deficiencies across aircraft operation and weapon system employment while recommending training strategies to bridge them.

  • Build and maintain comprehensive competency models and career development pathways. I.e. NMTL and JMTL (Task Lists)

  • Partner with Aircrew Training System Managers and VAW-120 Instructor teams to design or source effective curriculum and simulator training strategies.

  • Track workforce analytics, including training effectiveness and overall skill progression, presenting data to stakeholders in the form of STI Reports and TMTs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Clearance & Citizenship: Secret Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specific Experience with the creation of Training Support Package (TSP) and Training System Requirements Analysis (TSRA) documents highly preferre
