Job description

Location: Remote / Hybrid
Type: Internship
Compensation: NA. Course Credit Only
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time
Experience Level: Undergraduate, Graduate, or exceptional self-taught builders with strong projects
Rozie Synopsis - Product Onboarding & Delivery Intern
At Rozie Synopsis, we're building the future of event intelligence, knowledge capture, and AI-powered experiences.
We believe events are some of the most underleveraged knowledge systems in business today. Our platform helps organizations transform live conversations, sessions, meetings, and interactions into searchable knowledge, actionable insights, and long-term value.
We're looking for engineering interns who are deeply curious about modern software development, AI-native engineering workflows, and agentic systems.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly on production systems, prototypes, internal tooling, and AI-driven workflows.
Role Overview
The Product Onboarding & Delivery Intern supports the team responsible for the technical onboarding, configuration, and delivery of customer events. Working alongside experienced engineers and product specialists, the intern will gain hands-on exposure to the full event lifecycle - pre-event setup, live delivery, and post-event workflows - while contributing to real, intern-scoped projects that make a visible impact on how events are delivered.
This internship is well suited for third- and fourth-year students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related fields who are curious about product operations, customer-facing technical roles, or SaaS delivery.
What You'll Do
Onboarding Support
  • Assist in gathering and documenting event requirements under the guidance of senior team members
  • Help maintain JIRA tickets, track action items, and keep status updated across event onboarding workflows
  • Shadow customer and partner calls to learn how technical requirements are scoped and validated

Configuration & Product Learning
  • Learn the platform's configuration options and assist with non-critical setup tasks under supervision
  • Pair with engineers to understand how features are configured for different event types
  • Build familiarity with internal tools, dashboards, and documentation

Documentation & Enablement
  • Draft and update onboarding materials, runbooks, and training notes for internal and partner use
  • Help create or edit short training videos for AV teams and production partners
  • Identify gaps or unclear sections in existing documentation and propose improvements

Live Event Exposure
  • Observe live event support sessions to understand monitoring, escalation paths, and incident response
  • Assist with pre-event readiness checks alongside the support team
  • Take structured notes on issues, resolutions, and improvement opportunities

Post-Event Support
  • Help with post-event tasks such as content review, basic reporting, and editorial handoffs
  • Surface patterns in post-event feedback to support continuous improvement

What You'll Learn
  • How a real SaaS event platform is configured and delivered to enterprise customers
  • Practical use of JIRA and other tools for managing technical work end-to-end
  • How cross-functional teams - Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, AV - collaborate to deliver complex live events
  • Stakeholder communication, written documentation, and triage skills in a fast-paced environment
  • A clear, honest view of what a career in product operations, implementation, or customer engineering looks like

Qualifications
Required
  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior at a US university
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Curiosity about how software products are delivered, operated, and improved
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable asking thoughtful questions

Nice to Have
  • Coursework or project experience involving SaaS products, APIs, or web technologies
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Trello, Asana, or similar tracking tools (academic or club projects count)
  • Any exposure to events, AV/production environments, or video content workflows
  • Interest in customer-facing technical roles, product operations, or implementation engineering

What We Offer
  • Mentorship from product, engineering, and operations leaders
  • Ownership of meaningful, intern-scoped projects with visible outcomes
  • Exposure to live, customer-facing event delivery
  • An end-to-end view of how a modern SaaS event platform operates
  • [Duration, location, compensation, and academic credit details to be confirmed by the hiring team]

Why This Role Matters
Interns in this role contribute directly to how smoothly customer events are onboarded and delivered. They get a rare, full-stack view of product operations - from the first customer requirements call to the final post-event handoff - and leave the internship with concrete experience in technical onboarding, documentation, and live delivery support.
