Course:Algorithms and Data Structures

This course covers classical algorithms and data structures, with an emphasis on implementation and application in solving real-world computational problems. The course focuses on algorithms for sorting, searching, string processing, and graphs. Students learn basic strategies to evaluate divide-and-conquer, recursive backtracking, and algorithm efficiency. Hands-on activities focus on writing code that implements concepts and algorithm implementation techniques.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

  • Preferred: Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Programming OR MBA or Mater's in Information Systems with 2 or more years of experience in computer programming with C++ and Java.
  • Minimum: Bachelor's in degrees listed above with 5 or more years of experience in computer programming with C++ and Java.
