Major Duties:
  • Strong communication and listening skills to interact with both guests and teammates
  • Professional knowledge base of classic and creative cocktails, beer, and wine
  • Interpret guest's desires and provide recommendations
  • Ensuring accurate accountability of food & beverage sales to each guest
  • Ensuring that bar area is properly inventoried and stock for the following shift
  • Base knowledge and understanding of the culinary menu
  • Keeps an efficient work pace that allows guests at the bar and in the dining room to be satisfied at all times
  • Have a general knowledge and understanding of Delaware Department of Health for food safety standards
  • Enjoys providing great hospitality

Qualifications:
  • Excellent Emotional Self Awareness under pressure while maintaining a respectful, warm presence
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • 2+ years' experience working as a bartender
  • Ability to work nights, weekend, and holidays
  • Ability to multitask and take direction in high volume situations
  • Must possess Delaware Alcohol Server Training Card
  • Knowledge of a second language is a plus
