Job Duties:
  1. Demonstrate ability to engage consumers in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of disability or phase of recovery.
  2. Assist individuals served by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fulfilling requests across diverse communication channels, including telephone, telehealth, email, live chat, and in-person interactions.
  3. Responsible for answering and triaging internal and external telephone calls. Conducts initial screening of consumers and other patrons to determine the nature of requests or problems, takes messages, refers to the appropriate parties and performs related customer service activities representing the program to the general public.
  4. Look up new individuals in EMR and add new individual charts when appropriate.
  5. Enhances engagement and outreach of new individuals by providing a welcoming, supportive intake experience and offering smooth transition from an individual's first access point for services to intake appointment and to ongoing program services.
  6. Direct services may include outreach and engagement in the office or virtually.
  7. Educates new individuals on EM service array and Same Day Access process.

Qualifications:
  1. Have two (2) years of responsible full-time clerical experience.
  2. Excellent customer service skills.
  3. Ability to make general decisions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  4. Strong computer knowledge and experience including Microsoft Office.
  5. Knowledge of modern office equipment, practices, and procedures. Experience with healthcare EHR systems and Salesforce a plus.
  6. Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
