Position:            Part-time Housekeeper

Schedule:          3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm

Location:           Fairfield, CT

Salary:                $40/hour


Overview:

 

Family of 3 is looking for a passionate, friendly and respectful Part-time Housekeeper to help maintain their Fairfield, CT home. The candidate must be proactive, detail oriented, and eager to take on a variety of responsibilities. Needs to be organized with excellent systematic cleaning and laundry experience.


Responsibilities:

 

·      Housekeeping:  The Housekeeper will be responsible for full charge housekeeping, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting, as appropriate, all floors and household surfaces, including antiques and polishing silverware.

·      Laundry/Ironing: The Housekeeper should be able to do daily general laundry, as well as provide expert care for fine clothing. Ironing and clothing care skills.

·      Act as House Manager for family whenever they’re away on vacation (make sure everything runs smoothly, work with vendors, etc.)

·      Grocery shopping and household errands as needed

·      Interact with 5-year-old daughter on occasion

·      Dog care: Responsible for the care of 1 small dog, including basic feeding and walking

·      Experience working in a highly-organized home

·      Prior experience using a steam iron

·      Must be able to drive; car will be provided for running errands
