Job description

Level 2 Desktop Support Technician (Recurring Weekly Onsite)


We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Desktop Support / End User Support Technician to provide recurring onsite IT support in a professional corporate environment. This is a long-term opportunity requiring one onsite visit every Wednesday (6–8 hours) with occasional additional onsite support as needed during normal business hours.


The ideal candidate has strong Windows troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and can work independently while coordinating with remote support teams.


Schedule

  • 1 onsite visit per week (Wednesdays)
  • 6–8 hours per visit
  • Business hours
  • Additional onsite hours may be requested with advance notice
  • Long-term assignment (approximately 1 year)


Responsibilities

  • Configure, deploy, and support desktop and laptop computers
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 hardware and software issues
  • Support Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Troubleshoot printers and peripheral devices
  • Perform basic network and connectivity troubleshooting (TCP/IP, LAN)
  • Support Yealink audio/video conferencing equipment
  • Perform IMAC activities (Install, Move, Add, Change)
  • Assist with desktop support projects and hardware deployments
  • Document work performed and provide clear status updates
  • Coordinate with remote support teams to resolve issues


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Level 2 Desktop Support or End User Support experience
  • Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting skills
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
  • Printer and peripheral troubleshooting experience
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN connectivity)
  • Experience supporting conference room technology (Yealink preferred)
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently onsite
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to commit to a recurring weekly schedule for approximately one year
  • Resume required


Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent experience
