Part-time role supporting daily accounting operations, recordkeeping, and month-end close activities for an Omaha based Technology Organization. Ensures accurate and timely financial data across AP/AR and general ledger functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and code financial transactions (AP, AR, deposits, journal entries)
- Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
- Process vendor invoices and schedule payments
- Create customer invoices and monitor receivables
- Follow up on past due accounts and resolve billing issues
- Assist with reconciliations and month-end close
- Support accounting projects and process improvements
Requirements
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
Preferred
- 2+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central or ERP systems
