Environment Control is hiring part-time Day-Porter to join our growing team! Responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties to uphold the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our clients' premises. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and dedicated to delivering outstanding cleaning results while adhering to safety protocols and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Surface Cleaning:Clean and sanitize various surfaces, including floors, walls, windows, furniture, and fixtures, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Dusting and Polishing:Dust surfaces, furniture, and equipment thoroughly, ensuring the removal of dirt, debris, and allergens. Polish surfaces to maintain a clean and attractive appearance.
  • Vacuuming and Sweeping:Vacuum carpets and rugs to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Sweep and mop hard surface floors to eliminate dirt and stains, paying attention to corners and hard-to-reach areas.
  • Trash Removal:Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as necessary. Dispose of trash and recyclable materials in designated containers, following proper waste disposal procedures. Wipe off pollens and spills.
  • Restocking Supplies: Monitor inventory levels and notify office of of out of stock supplies. Refill teas, coffees, cups napkins, accessories.

*All other tasks/duties with the Scope of the Controller position.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Day-Porter, commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to follow instructions, good communication skills and work effectively independently or as part of a team.
  • Perform cleaning tasks, including bending, kneeling, and lifting.
  • Dependability and punctuality.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning methods and procedures.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks.
  • Be able to lift/carry a minimum of 25 pounds.
