The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring an Inventory Control Manager to join our team at Grand Canyon National Park in Grand Canyon Village, Arizona. As Inventory Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all inventory-related activities across retail, grocery, and warehouse locations to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient inventory flow, and minimal shrink. This role plays a critical part in contributing to the efficiency and success of day-to-day operations at Grand Canyon National Park. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $56,900 - $76,800 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
  • Assign and coordinate daily tasks with receiving and operations teams
  • Provide support and training to team members, managers, supervisors and cashiers on inventory processes, systems and controls
  • Oversee receiving, storage, and transfer activity across all locations, ensuring compliance with First-In-First Out standards, especially for grocery and perishable items
  • Monitor inventory levels across all inventory locations, ensuring accuracy between physical counts and system records
  • Conduct regular spot checks and cycle counts at each store and identify trends and variances
  • Run end-of-month inventory reports; partner with retail managers, controllers, and billing coordinators to resolve variances between retail systems and the general ledger
  • Lead annual full-scale physical inventory counts across all inventory locations
  • Prepare audit documentation for finance and compliance teams
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding alcohol, sanitation, payroll, and employment
  • Ability to drive company vehicles throughout property
More about you
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, retail operations or related fields
  • Experience in grocery or high-volume retail environments preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory systems, warehouse management, full physical inventories, cycle counting, and auditing practices
  • Proficiency with POS systems, inventory tools, and Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting required
  • Ability to work in warehouse, back-of-house, and retail environments
