POSITION SUMMARY
The Internal Social Media Associate I is responsible for developing and implementing a social media strategy that fosters a positive and engaged company culture. This role involves informing employees about industry news, enhancing communication among staff, and promoting company values and initiatives. The associate will manage internal social media platforms, create engaging content, monitor employee engagement, and analyze performance to ensure effective communication and employee satisfaction. This is a part-time position offering flexibility to work 20-25 hours per week. The schedule can be arranged for either 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, or 8 hours a day, 3 days a week.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company goals and internal communication objectives.
  • Identify and leverage relevant internal social media platforms to reach employees
  • Stay informed about the latest social media trends and best practices to ensure strategies are relevant and effective.

Content Creation and Management:
  • Create compelling, high-impact content for Ebara's internal social media platforms, incorporating engaging copy, visuals, videos, and interactive elements to drive employee engagement and communication
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure sustainable, consistent, and timely communication.
  • Monitor industry trends and act as the primary contact for employee activities and shared media.
  • Ensure content aligns with company branding and messaging guidelines while maintaining consistency across all communication channels.

Collaboration and Community Management:
  • Monitor and engage with internal social media channels, responding to comments, questions, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Serve as the point of contact for social media inquiries, facilitate discussions, encourage employee participation, and foster a strong sense of community and belonging.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all internal communications channels.
  • Stay informed about company news and initiatives to ensure timely and accurate social media posts.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts.
  • Analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports to track progress and inform future strategies.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Products, SharePoint, Canva, and a willingness to research other platform options.

Experience:
  • A prior internship, or experience in a professional setting managing social media content OR
  • One to three (1-3) years of experience in social media management, particularly in internal communications or employee engagement, or equivalent experience gained through school projects, personal projects, or other relevant experiences

Skills & Abilities:
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools.
  • Strong content creation and copywriting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Assist with other internal communication initiatives as needed.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and emerging technologies in social media.
