Job description

Job Summary:
SourcePro Search is seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist with at least 8 years of experience in the field. The role involves defining, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining various aspects of IT security including architecture, infrastructure platforms, and application security.
Responsibilities:
• defining, deploying, monitoring and maintaining physical security
• IT security architecture
• infrastructure platforms
• application security
• tool administration/management and related business processes and workflows
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related major.
• 8-10 years of experience with network/perimeter security; security event monitoring; vulnerability assessment; intrusion detection and response; encryption technologies; and Internet content monitoring/filtering.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Cisco IOS, UNIX, and Linux.
• Strong knowledge of network and security protocols including TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP, SSH, TLS, SSL, HTTP, IPSec and other VPN protocols.
• Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred:
• Security or IT Certification including CISSP or CISA and GSEC or similar is a plus.
