Who We Are:
Minnesota United FC (MNUFC) is a professional soccer club competing in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier of soccer in North America. As a club driven by passion and community, we operate under the oversight of the U.S. Soccer Federation, a member of FIFA. Our headquarters are in Golden Valley, MN, with soccer operations based at the MNUFC Training Center in Blaine. On matchdays, we call Allianz Field in St. Paul home-one of the premier soccer-specific stadiums in the country.
Position:
The Tour Guide is part of the Stadium Operations department for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America.
Position Summary:
The Tour Guide is a guest-facing role responsible for delivering engaging, informative, and memorable tours at Allianz Field. Tour Guides bring the stadium to life by sharing stories, history, and behind-the-scenes access with a wide variety of audiences. This role leads public, private, and educational tours, welcoming guests of all ages and backgrounds while representing the Club with professionalism, energy, and pride.
This is a part-time position based at Allianz Field in Saint Paul, MN reporting to the Special Events Specialist.
Why You'll Love It Here:
At MNUFC, people are at the heart of everything we do. From the players on the pitch, to the fans in the stands, and the guests exploring our stadium for the first time.
As a Tour Guide, you won't just show people around, you'll help create lasting memories. You'll play a key role in how fans, students, and visitors experience our Club, our facility, and our community. Every tour is a chance to spark curiosity, inspire the next generation of soccer fans, and share what makes this place special.
We lead with empathy, sweat the details, and show up for one another. If you love storytelling, thrive in front of a crowd, and take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences, we'd love to have you join the team.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead engaging full-stadium and special event tours for groups of varying sizes, ages, and interests
  • Deliver public, private, and educational tours, including school groups and youth organizations
  • Share accurate, compelling information about the stadium, Club history, team, and operations
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive experience for guests of all ages
  • Follow all stadium guidelines, safety procedures, and tour protocols
  • Assist with preparing tour routes, including checking access points and ensuring spaces are ready
  • Set up and prepare classroom or learning spaces for educational tours
  • Serve as a positive ambassador for the Club, answering questions and engaging with guests throughout their visit

What You'll Bring:
  • Prior experience as a tour guide, educator, or in a guest-facing role
  • Comfort speaking confidently in front of large groups
  • Experience working with children or leading educational experiences is a plus
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Ability to engage and connect with guests of all ages and backgrounds
  • Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, and varying tour schedules

Compensation & Benefits:
Minnesota United FC values the contributions of our team members and is committed to transparency in our compensation practices. The compensation range for this role is $16.50 - $18.50 per hour (non-exempt).
Beyond compensation, the Club is dedicated to creating a positive work environment where our people and our work matter, while supporting individual and team growth. We prioritize opportunities for career development and advancement. Part-time employees also enjoy additional benefits, including a merchandise discount and opportunities for rewards and recognition, ensuring that achievements are celebrated.
