We offer services such as airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary housing, conversation partnerships, and social events and trips.Expected Work Schedule for the Global ISM Mission Coach:Full- or part-time, flexible scheduleOccasional evenings and/or weekends for specific events/projectsAttendance at several conferences each year, including IFI Staff RetreatsPay Structure for the Global ISM Mission Coach:Requires developing a ministry partner team, which supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expenses.Training is provided to develop a team of ministry partners.The suggested pay range is $70,472 to $84,872 (after the period of support development), based on experience, regional context (where you will reside in the world), and other factors.Global ISM Mission Coach Benefits:Paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and more (once eligible)Health benefits (medical, dental, and vision) for eligible staffFlexible hours and work-from-home availabilityWork for a growing Christian organizationStaff care to support mental, social, and spiritual health for all staffResponsibilities of a Global ISM Mission Coach:The Global ISM Mission Coach will:Trust in God for clarity in vision, networking, and provision.Build, lead, and manage leaders in various cultural contexts to implement international student ministry (ISM) strategies on campuses worldwide.This may include Developing and coaching cross-cultural teams of local campus leaders, national ISM directors, volunteer coordinators, and ministry partners.Provide pastoral care, mentoring, and strategic guidance to local and national teams, equipping them to engage effectively with international students in their context.Collaborate with churches, organizations, and missions agencies globally to expand the reach and impact of international student ministry.Develop strategic plans for global ISM growth, including budget planning, vision casting, and resource allocation for each region.Create opportunities for global partnerships that align with IFI's mission of extending friendship and hospitality to international students out of reverence for Jesus.Facilitate cross-cultural training and resources to equip local ministry leaders to effectively minister to international students from diverse cultural backgrounds.Report on global ministry outcomes, highlighting how students, volunteers, and partners are being reached, discipled, and mobilized.Work closely with the Global Ambassador, National Ministries Director, Strategic Partnerships Coordinator, and others as necessary.Foster an environment of prayer and spiritual growth across global ISM teams.Qualifications Needed from the Global ISM Mission Coach, Including Spiritual Characteristics:Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies.Demonstrates faithfulness and dedication to IFI's global vision of extending God's love to international students worldwide.Culturally adaptable, with a heart for ministry in diverse and challenging contexts.Strong cross-cultural communication skills and ability to mentor others in cross-cultural ministry.Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in various international settings.A self-starter with proven leadership skills, able to work both independently and collaboratively in a global team.Capacity to handle stress, adapt to changing circumstances, and exhibit flexibility in an international context.Technologically proficient, with experience using communication and productivity tools. Willingness to learn new technologies that may benefit the global ISM vision as God directs.Willingness to travel internationally as needed.Education/Experience for a Global ISM Mission Coach:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in missions, theology, intercultural studies, or a related field.5+ years of experience in cross-cultural ministry. Experience should include working with international students and leading multicultural teams in various global settings.Experience in building partnerships with local churches, mission agencies, or global ministry networks is highly desirable.Completion of or commitment to completing the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement is preferred.Experience working in a global or international context, with knowledge of international student ministry trends and challenges.International Friendships, Inc.
