Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Import/Export Specialist and become a vital player in managing international logistics operations! In this role, you will oversee the seamless movement of goods across borders, ensuring compliance with global regulations and optimizing supply chain efficiency. Your expertise will help us navigate complex import/export procedures, coordinate freight and transportation management, and uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where proactive problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail drive success. Duties

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of import and export shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws, FDA regulations (Food and Drug Administration), OSHA standards, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with logistics providers, carriers, and freight companies to optimize transportation management and fleet operations.
  • Prepare accurate regulatory reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation to meet legal and company standards.
  • Monitor supply chain activities to identify potential risks or delays, implementing proactive risk management strategies.
  • Maintain detailed records of shipments, regulatory filings, and compliance reports through precise report writing.
  • Stay updated on changes in trade policies, customs procedures, and safety regulations to ensure ongoing adherence.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or import/export operations has priority but we provide training for entry level candidates who are quick learners and eager to learn.
  • Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail for regulatory reporting purposes.
  • Ability to navigate complex compliance requirements while maintaining efficiency in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
