Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and personal care. This role requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
  • Provide meal preparation and cooking services tailored to clients' dietary needs.
  • Support clients in mobility and lifting as necessary to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Offer patient care, including monitoring health conditions and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with catheter care and other medical needs as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all living spaces are tidy and organized.
  • Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams.
Experience

  • Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with long-term care practices is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
  • Ability to follow care plans accurately while being adaptable to changing client needs.
  • Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program State of Indiana. Active Aide license
