Job description

Hearing & Low Vision Solutions, a privately-owned Audiology practice in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Bi-Lingual (Mandarin & Cantonese) - Audiologist OR Hearing Instrument Specialist to add to our team. We have been helping patients in our community since 1978 and we are passionate about providing both the best hearing healthcare technology available and the best patient experience possible. Hearing healthcare professionals seeking either full or part time employment are welcome to apply.

The Hearing Care Provider will be responsible for hearing evaluations for adults, fittings, and follow-up care. Additionally, our provider will provide counsel, guidance and education to patients in order to help them realize the best solution to treat their hearing loss.

The following DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES are central to the role:

  • Conduct diagnostic comprehensive hearing evaluations
  • Executes a treatment plan through excellent counseling and education
  • Recommend and fit proper hearing devices based on patient’s needs
  • Assist in clinical administrative functions including phone calls, documentation, and reporting
  • Maintain confidentiality of all business and patient information
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures
  • May also be involved in marketing and public outreach, including community events, lunch and learns, health fairs, and senior living events

To ensure success candidates should also possess the following EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated experience building strong and positive relationships with patients
  • Masters or Doctorate in Audiology or Active California Hearing Aid Dispensing license
  • Bilingual (Mandarin & Cantonese)
