Job description

Amazing Athletes and Little Medical School are leading providers of sports, fitness, and STEM-oriented enrichment programs for children. We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our team of Coaches and Instructors. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching the fundamentals of various sports, promoting physical fitness, and engaging in career-exploration and STEM activities with children of all ages.

You will conduct classes at schools and community centers, creating a positive and engaging environment for children to learn and develop. You will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with children, and have excellent communication and organizational skills.

**We are currently hiring part-time instructor positions for approximately 5-10 hours per week, with future growth potential of up to 30 hours per week. Primarily weekday mornings.**

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to deliver engaging lesson plans to children ages 2 and older.
  • Experience in working with children is a plus! (Coaches, educators, babysitters, preschool teachers, day care workers, nursery volunteers, camp counselors, etc.)
  • Background in health, fitness, or medicine is a plus! (Nursing, healthcare, sports, gymnastics, cheer, martial arts, physical education, kinesiology, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CPR and first aid certification is a plus.
