Description
Oxford College of Emory University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor of French to begin August 1, 2025.Teaching responsibilities include 1-2 in-person undergraduate courses per semester in first- and second-year French language. This is a part-time position, and does not include benefits
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Minimum of MA in French, PhD preferred, with previous experience teaching French language courses.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience as the instructor of record for in-person undergraduate courses in French, with demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
One of Emory University's four schools partnering in undergraduate education, Oxford College provides 975 first- and second-year students of high academic profile an intensive liberal-arts program for the first two years of their Emory bachelor's degree.

To apply, candidates should submit a cover letter, CV, and evidence of teaching effectiveness (i.e. sample syllabi and/or evaluations), and the names and contact information for two references who can speak to the candidate's experience or promise for teaching.
