Teaching experience at the community college and/or university level. Experience with online Learning Management Systems, such as Canvas or Blackboard. Example of Duties GENERAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Part of the counseling assignment may be online, in the evening, and/or on Saturdays.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Teaching lower division college courses in the areas of business, business communication, management, and marketing. Courses may include but are not limited to Introduction to Business, Introduction to Marketing, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Principles of Management, Quality Management, Business Communication, Business Law, Business Computations, and Elements of Supervision. Initial assignments will include live class offerings, primarily daytime, evening, and/or Saturday.

Online classes may be assigned upon completion of qualified Online Instructor Certification. Engaging in department meetings and initiatives relating to program improvement and service to students. Advancing equitable student learning through dedicated, exemplary instruction in accordance with established course outlines.

Informing students of course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance requirements. Preparing and grading class assignments and examinations, and informing students of their academic progress. Maintaining attendance, scholastic, and other records and submitting them according to published policies and deadlines.

Developing, implementing, and assessing student-learning outcomes for courses and programs, and using the results for improvement. Engaging in data inquiry and self-assessment to develop strategies for student success, persistence, and equity. Participating in professional development activities to fulfill mandatory FLEX requirements.

Maintaining current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learning styles.
