If you have a passion for teaching and swimming, we need to talk. Were looking for a reliable, nurturing and energetic swim instructor who will be responsible for the swim development and confidence-building of our students.

Our instructors benefit from consistent teaching shifts with flexible hours. When appointed, you will receive advanced training in our methodology and processes.

What you will be doing:

  • Instruct swimming lessons following The Aqua Life methodology
  • Evaluate students swimming ability to determine the correct swim level
  • Maintain the safety, cleanliness, and order in and around the pool
  • Create a secure, inviting and positive experience for all participants, big or small
  • Quickly and efficiently respond to client questions, comments, and concerns

The team at The Aqua Life Swim Academy has over25 years of experiencein developing aquatic skills in children and adults and we are always keen to hear from enthusiastic swimmers who would like to be part of our growing instructor team here in Kingston.

Although we teach swimming to all ages and abilities, the majority of our students are pre-school and elementary-aged children, so you really have to enjoy working with this young age group.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Valid National Lifeguard
  • Valid SFA and CPR-C
  • Prior experience teaching swimming (minimum one year)
  • Previous competitive swimmer preferred

Experience working with children and personal transportation is considered an asset.
