Posting Summary
The Rutgers Business School is seeking part-time instructors to teach for its non-credit programs and centers. We are looking for qualified instructors that can contribute to our school's mission, connect the classroom and the industry, and provide a positive learning experience.
Successful candidates will instruct/co-instruct on a variety of topics, including, but not limited to: accounting, accounting information systems, financial accounting, government accounting, taxation, administrative studies, finance, economics, real estate, marketing, management, management science and information systems, operational management, strategic leadership, supply chain, and much more.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
  • Instructing/Co-instructing for non-credit courses and workshops
  • Preparing course materials (e.g., syllabi, presentation, reading materials, documents, etc.)
  • Provide constructive feedback and advisement to participants
  • Practice innovative educational methodology and pedagogy
  • Generating necessary final reports for program directors

Some positions may be grant funded.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
Requires an advanced degree and at least one year of instructional/presentational experience, or a combination of education and experience. The degree requirement may be waived if a candidate is considered a subject matter expert.
A doctoral degree is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
