Our mission is to save time for busy Oklahoma families and shoppers while delivering clean, professional, eco-friendly service in a bright, welcoming space.

Job Summary

As a SpinJoy Laundry Pro, you are the friendly, professional face of the brand inside Walmart. You handle every step of the customer experience—from greeting walk-ins, processing drop-offs, operating equipment, folding laundry, to ensuring fast, accurate pickups. You help create a positive, efficient, and spotless environment that turns laundry into a convenient, delightful part of a Walmart trip.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service & Engagement
    • Greet every customer with a warm "Welcome to SpinJoy! How can we help?" and a smile
    • Explain the simple drop-off process, app setup, and 90-minute turnaround
    • Answer questions using SpinJoy’s Q&A database (e.g., pricing, eco options, stain treatment)
    • Assist with heavy bags, special requests (fragrance-free, special care notes), and app downloads/sign-ups
    • Handle complaints with empathy, offer solutions (discounts, rewash), and escalate to supervisor when needed
  • Laundry Processing & Operations
    • Receive, weigh, tag, and bag laundry using QR code system
    • Load/unload large-capacity washers and dryers; follow load-size guidelines for detergent and cycles
    • Perform eco-friendly stain pretreatment when requested
    • Fold laundry neatly at organized stations (pair socks, wrinkle-free results)
    • Inspect final loads for quality before handing to customers
    • Maintain spotless workspace: daily cleaning checklists, lint trap removal, machine wiping, spill management
  • Safety & Hygiene
    • Wear provided uniform and PPE (gloves, aprons) when handling soiled items or chemicals
    • Follow all safety protocols (emergency shutoffs, hazard reporting)
    • Never mix customer loads—ensure strict separation
    • Handle lost items (pockets, sharps) per lost-and-found and disposal procedures
    • Comply with Oklahoma medical marijuana law: valid licenses respected, but no impairment on duty (especially safety-sensitive tasks)
  • Team & Performance
    • Log new customer activations in the app for spiff bonuses ($2–$5 per activation) and monthly contest points
    • Participate in training modules (operations, safety, customer service, SpinJoy Certified Laundry Pro badge)
    • Work collaboratively in a family-like culture; celebrate wins and support teammates
    • Maintain phone-free focus during shifts (emergencies handled via manager)

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and reliability
  • Ability to stand/walk for entire shift, lift up to 50 lbs (laundry bags, supplies)
  • Basic math skills
  • Comfortable using smartphone/tablet for app and QR scanning (training provided)
  • Flexible availability (including weekends and evenings—Walmart store hours)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous retail, hospitality, or laundry/laundromat experience
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment or basic machine operation
  • Enthusiasm for eco-friendly practices and helping busy Oklahoma families

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive hourly pay + spiff bonuses for every new customer activation
  • Monthly Activation Contest with cash prizes and team bonuses
  • Paid training and certification (SpinJoy Certified Laundry Pro)
  • Uniform provided
  • Opportunity for advancement (e.g., shift lead, supervisor) as SpinJoy expands in Oklahoma
  • Work in a clean, modern, bright environment inside Walmart

Schedule Expectations

  • Full-time: ~37 hours/week (with benefits eligibility where applicable)
  • Part-time: 15–30 hours/week (flexible shifts)
  • Shifts: Early (7:00 AM–3:30 PM), Mid (10:30 AM–7:00 PM), Late (2:30 PM–11:00 PM) with staggered lunches
  • Oklahoma law: No mandatory breaks for employees 16+ (but encouraged and scheduled for well-being)
