Title: Driver (Part-Time)
Reports To: Vice President of SVT
Position Overview:
Must be available Monday - Friday. The Part-Time Driver is responsible for the safe and professional transport of shuttle buses from the ABC Companies facility to designated customer or operational locations for delivery. This position does not involve transporting passengers. The role requires strong working knowledge of DOT regulations and safe vehicle handling practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate shuttle buses from the ABC facility to assigned delivery locations
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT and company standards
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately, including inspection reports and delivery confirmations
  • Communicate proactively with dispatch and operations regarding route status, delays, or mechanical concerns
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
  • Protect company assets by operating equipment responsibly and reporting any issues immediately
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Valid driver license
  • Clean driving record meeting company insurability standards
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • On-Call Availability - This is a part-time position scheduled based on operational and delivery needs and may require flexibility, including early mornings or extended travel time depending on delivery assignments.
