We specialize in the areas of brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury and complex medical conditions. We offer inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to patients 15 years of age and older. RHI is the only Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Model System in the state of Indiana and one of only 16 in the U.S We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, along with a 401k match and tuition reimbursement program. SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF JOBThe Department of Rehabilitation Neuropsychology at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana is recruiting for a part-time Rehabilitation Psychologist to work as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team and provide clinical services to inpatients and outpatients, including diagnostic/assessment services, treatment services, and education to patients, families of patients, and staff.  Additionally, the candidate is expected to come in 8-10 hours/week and maintain a weekly outpatient psychotherapy caseload for individuals with neurological/medical issues, and provide coverage for staff who are out of office. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProvide Rehabilitation Psychological Services to internal RHI and external referral sources, including psychological assessment, individual and group treatment.Develop and implement treatment recommendations/plans for individual patients and families, integrating age-specific issues as well as clinical rehabilitation needs.Provide patient and family education to rehabilitation patients, including development and implementation of behavior management strategies for patients as well as training and monitoring staff for consistency of application, as needed.Document assessment and treatment services per facility standards.Provide staff education and in-services as needed EducationPhD. or Psy.D. from an APA- or CPA- accredited programSuccessfully completed fellowship training in Rehabilitation PsychologyIndiana license or license eligibleFellowship training in Health Psychology or Clinical Psychology or related subspecialty may also be considered depending on the individual's training/experience working with medical/neurological population HoursPart-Time Work: 8-10 hours per week (days TBD). The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
