Job description

Part Time Infusion Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Neurology
Location: Austin, TX
If you enjoy infusion nursing but want a calmer environment, meaningful patient interaction, and a schedule that actually works for you, this role is built for that.
Central Texas Neurology Consultants is hiring a Part-Time Infusion Nurse to support our growing outpatient infusion center. This is a flexible, weekday-based role in a highly specialized neurology practice where quality of care-not volume-drives the day.
Why This Role Stands Out
โ€ข Low, manageable patient volume - No high-throughput infusion pace; time to focus on patient care
โ€ข Flexible Part Time scheduling - 2 10-hour weekday shifts per week
โ€ข No nights or weekends - Outpatient setting with predictable hours
โ€ข Specialized neurology care - Infusions for MS and other neurologic conditions (non-oncology)
โ€ข Strong, supportive team - Work alongside experienced neurologists and infusion nurses
โ€ข Meaningful patient relationships - Longer visits allow for real connection and continuity
What You'll Do
โ€ข Administer specialty infusion therapies and perform patient assessments
โ€ข Start IVs and manage infusions with strong clinical judgment
โ€ข Monitor for infusion reactions and respond appropriately
โ€ข Educate patients and caregivers throughout treatment
โ€ข Collaborate with providers and the infusion team to ensure a seamless experience
โ€ข Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all clinical protocols
What We're Looking For
โ€ข Active, unrestricted RN license
โ€ข BLS certification required
โ€ข 1+ year of nursing experience (infusion experience preferred)
โ€ข Strong IV skills and clinical judgment
โ€ข Comfortable working independently in a small team environment
What We Offer
โ€ข Competitive compensation
โ€ข Monday-Friday scheduling (no weekends or holidays)
โ€ข Flexible, predictable shifts
โ€ข A genuinely positive, team-oriented work environment
โ€ข Opportunity to grow with a well-established, expanding neurology practice
