Job Description Part-Time Position without BenefitsPlans and monitors recreation center activities, such as afternoon summer programs, youth programming, and payment collections. Prepares Recreation center, welcomes community members, and assists them as needed. Takes payments or deposits for facility use. Monitors the recreation center and gymnasium. Ensures facility is properly cleaned and sanitized in a timely manner for the safety of our community.

- Organizes, supervises, and monitors activities conducted in the recreation center.
- Monitors activities in the weight room, basketball gym, and boxing gym.
- Assists patrons with registration and payment; inputs information into system; provides information about activities and future events.
- Maintains cleanliness of recreation center; cleans and sanitizes assigned areas.
- Performs related work as required.

Position will have the following exposures.

Minimum QualificationsRequired Education and Experience- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalency
- Less than 1 year experience in recreational program or camp counseling, working with children, recreation programs, or related experience.
Valid Licenses and CertificationsRequired Licenses or Certifications- Valid Texas Driver License. If applicant holds an out-of-state license, a State of Texas Driver License must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
**Continued employment is contingent on successfully obtaining required certification(s) and/or license(s) within the specified period of time indicated above from time of hire.- Valid Infant, Child, & Adult CPR certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment**
- Valid First Aid certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment**
