Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Part-Time Abatement Supervisor to oversee environmental abatement projects involving asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and other hazardous materials. The supervisor will ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining high-quality standards and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise abatement crews on residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce company safety policies.
  • Monitor work practices, containment setups, and decontamination procedures.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, air monitoring records, and compliance paperwork.
  • Coordinate project materials and equipment needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between field crews, management, and inspectors.
  • Perform site inspections and quality control checks.
  • Train and mentor crew members on proper abatement procedures and safety protocols.
  • Respond to project issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications
  • Current Supervisor Certification for asbestos, lead, mold, or other applicable abatement disciplines preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in environmental abatement, remediation, or construction supervision.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read project specifications, reports, and regulatory documents.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying environmental conditions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with asbestos, lead, mold, and demolition projects.
  • Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification.
  • Experience conducting employee training and safety audits.
