Job description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled full-time or Part-Time Mechanic to diagnose, service, and repair gas, diesel, and small engine equipment. This position works on a variety of engines and related systems for a local Tree Service company located in Milton. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Qualifications

  • Experience repairing gas, diesel, and/or small engines preferred.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
  • Knowledge of engine systems, preventive maintenance, and common repair procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals, diagrams, and repair instructions.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to manage time efficiently.
  • Valid drivers license/CDL
  • Technical training or certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently.

Work Schedule

This position may be full-time or part-time based on the needs of the business and the candidates availability. Some overtime, seasonal hours, or occasional weekend work may be required depending on workload.

Compensation and Benefits
