Advancing Opportunities, an affiliate with Apis Services is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Part-time Residential Support Specialists (DSP) position supporting men with disabilities in Jackson, NJ.
Advancing Opportunities is seeking a caring, compassionate people to provide assistance, supervision, guidance, mentoring and direction to our residents. Our mission is “Achieve full societal participation for all people with disabilities”.
Use your talents to assist and teach our consumers, with intellectual and physical disabilities, about: cooking, housekeeping, recreation, shopping, budgeting, healthy living, hygiene, personal medical care, coping skills, social skills, friendship building, and how to utilize their community resources.
Make a difference by helping others gain daily living skills, greater independence and autonomy.
No experience necessary, we offer paid training.
Requirements:
